The following data files created within Annex 42 are available for download:
Domestic hot water profiles (Subtask A)-
IEA Annex 42 Domestic hot water profiles (ASCII format):
(DHW WSA Annex 42.zip)
Annex 42 used the domestic hot water load generator developed by Annex 26 to produce domestic hot water profiles for residential housing, which are contained in ASCII format in this file.( Download )
-
Final Annex 42 Domestic hot water profiles (Excel format):
(Annex 42 DHW profiles - 1, 5 and 15 minute data by month FINAL.zip)
Annex 42 used the domestic hot water load generator developed by Annex 26 to produce domestic hot water profiles for residential housing. The profiles in this file are identical to the ones above, but now contained in EXCEL format.( Download )

Canadian Occupant-driven Electrical Load Profiles (ESP-r format):
(Can-Elec-Load-Profiles.zip)
This file contains a set of nine generated electrical load profiles and a set of seven measured electrical load profiles for single detached houses in Canada. The synthetic profiles were created using the NRC profile generator and have a 5-minute time basis. The set contains profiles representing families with a high, medium, and low electricity consumption.
Seven measured electrical load profiles were also created using measured data from detached houses that were gathered by Hydro Quebec from Jan 1994 - Sep 1996. The data values represent the average non-HVAC electric draw of the house (in Watts) over 15 minute periods.
All profiles are contained in .fcl files for direct use with ESP-r. The profiles are also available in EXCEL format (see below).

Generated Canadian Occupant-driven Electrical Load Profiles (EXCEL format, high electricity consumption):
(Canadian Electrical Profiles_Excel Format_high.zip)
This file contains a set of three generated electrical load profiles, which were created using the NRC profile generator and have a 5-minute time basis. This set of profiles represents a household with a high electricity consumption and is stored in EXCEL format.( Download )
-
Generated Canadian Occupant-driven Electrical Load Profiles (EXCEL format, average electricity consumption):
(Canadian Electrical Profiles_Excel Format_avg.zip)
This file contains a set of three generated electrical load profiles, which were created using the NRC profile generator and have a 5-minute time basis. This set of profiles represents a household with an average electricity consumption and is stored in EXCEL format.( Download )
-
Generated Canadian Occupant-driven Electrical Load Profiles (EXCEL format, low electricity consumption):
(Canadian Electrical Profiles_Excel Format_low.zip)
This file contains a set of three generated electrical load profiles, which were created using the NRC profile generator and have a 5-minute time basis. This set of profiles represents a household with a low electricity consumption and is stored in EXCEL format.( Download )

Three-Second daily demand data, Part 1:
(IEA 3 Second Daily Demand 2_4_05_to_2_14_05 part 1.zip)
These data were recoreded at three-second intervals, and describe the whole-house electrical usage of a six-person, single family residence in Irvine, California, USA.( Download )
-
Three-Second daily demand data, Part 2:
(IEA 3 Second Daily Demand 2_4_05_to_2_14_05 part 2.zip)
This file contains the second part of the electrical data recoreded at three-second intervals of a whole-house electrical usage of a six-person, single family residence in Irvine, California, USA.( Download )

Specific European Electrical Profiles:
(European Electrical Specifc Profiles - Annex 42 September 2006.zip)
The three files presented here represent the actual electricity consumption profiles recorded for three dwellings which we consider to be most representative of low, medium and high electric energy consumption amongst the sample of buildings monitored. The profiles cover a full year of average power consumption over 5 minute time intervals in two flats in Newcastle (England) and one town house in Llanelli (Wales). These profiles are presented as being the best current option to represent 'standard' European domestic profiles based on the data available to the Annex.( Download )

Standard European Electrical Profiles:
(European Electrical Standard Profiles - Annex 42 September 2006.zip)
The average electricity consumption of 69 houses in the UK is presented here in the electricity draw profiles for characteristic days for each season (winter, summer, and shoulder season) for both the weekday and weekend situation. The daily profiles are composed of the average consumption per 5 minute time slots over a month in the specifc season. An annual profile based upon the characteristic daily profiles is also included.( Download )
